Ben Tre Mekong Delta Tour
Take a Ben Tre day trip and experience one of the world’s greenest places!
After escaping the city, we’ll take a leisurely ride through the countryside to reach Ben Tre Province, a must-see for travelers in South Vietnam. Here you’ll experience daily Mekong Delta life, a food-growing region full of tranquility and friendly locals.
We’ll begin our Ben Tre tour with a boat cruise along the river, passing villages to arrive at a brick-kiln for a short demonstration. Our journey will continue on to a local food market, then a coconut workshop, where you’ll learn the process of making this delectable candy and even get to try some for yourself! Afterwards, relax and enjoy a live band playing traditional Vietnamese folk music, and get to try some locally-grown tropical fruits.
Suitably refreshed, we’ll continue our boat trip to a mat-weaving house. Here, construction is still performed in the traditional way, making every product unique. We’ll continue exploring the village on a xe loi – the Vietnamese version of Asia’s famous tuk-tuks – and stop at a gorgeous riverside restaurant for lunch.
