Cu Chi & Mekong Tour
An action-packed day tour includes the infamous Cu Chi Tunnels and a taste of the Mekong Delta within a single trip!
We’ll leave Ho Chi Minh City behind and head out into the countryside, arriving at Cu Chi for a short introduction to the area and the tunnels themselves. Your tour guide will lead a short walk through the forest to reach and explore several tunnels, and you’ll have the option of going underground yourself! Back on the Earth’s surface, you’ll learn about the Vietcong’s unorthodox weaponry and see some replicas in action.
Next up, we’ll continue to My Tho in the Mekong Delta and take a sumptuous lunchbreak. Suitably refreshed, we’ll take in the surrounding area on foot and via a sampan – the traditional Vietnamese wooden rowing boat. Here, you’ll get to taste some local delicacies, hear traditional music, and visit a rice paper workshop – one of the most popular food items across the whole of Vietnam.
A relaxing return journey to Saigon follows.
